To start the Nuka Cola Challenge quest you will need to go to Girdershade, which is located central-west of the map. You will then find find Sierra Petrovita at Girdershade in one of the two shacks. She will first take you on a Nuka Cola tour, where she will show you her personal Nuka Cola collection. After the tour, she will be accessible for speech. You will also be able to obtain the ice cold Nuka Cola.
Sierra will pay the player 40 caps for each Nuka Cola Quantum bottle brought to her. If you manage to bring her the total of 30 Nuka Cola Quantum bottles, she will provide a schematic for the Nuka Grenade.
When exiting Sierra's shack you will automatically encounter Ronald Laren, her only neighbour. Ronald has been chasing Sierra for a while and wishes to impress her even further. He asks you to hand the bottles to him instead so he can take the bottles to Sierra. With a good speech skill he will pay double the amount for the bottles.
There are 90 Nuka Cola Quantums found in the game excluding the ones found in Nuka Cola vending machines, as chances of finding Nuka Cola Quantum in vending machines is random.
