Nuka Cola Quantum is the latest addition to the Nuka Cola brand introduced in 2077. Nuka Cola Quantum, with its blue radiating glow makes it stand out to anyone using isotopic strontium, basically being a minor portion of actual radiation. However, though the fallout has radiated everything in the wasteland, in Fallout 3 the player temporarily receives an extra notch of 20 action points to be used in combat.

Nuka Cola Quantum is very easy to spot but hard to find. In fallout 3 a character named Sierra Petrovita, a true Nuka Cola fan, can be spoken to unlock the Nuka Cola challenge quest.

She can be found in her shack in the town of Girdershade, central-west in the wasteland. She asks you to bring 30 bottles of Nuka Cola Quantum which can be traded for a secret prize.

When the quest is completed, bringing one of each of vodka, flour and a Nuka Cola Quantum she will make you a Mississipi Quantum Pie. The reward is definitely something different than what you would expect from her flirting character, Fallout 3 not containing such explicity. The Mississipi Quantum Pie adds 20 extra action points, subtracts 1 intelligence and adds 1 strength.

Additionally, Nuka Cola Quantum is also an ingredient used t make a Nuka Grenade. Furthermore, Nuka Cola can be used to make a bottlecap mine, which uses caps to function as explosive shrapnel, hurting whoever sets off the mine.

In any case, Nuka Cola Quantum was considered a success, even though its release to a pre-post apocalyptic world was relatively short, since the bombs fell shortly after. Nuka Cola Quantum can be found anywhere regular Nuka Cola is found, often found in vending machines and mostly in habitated houses. Fallout 3 is the only Fallout game featuring Nuka Cola Quantum.
